In 8° (cm. 22 x 14); pagg. XXIII, 512, (4); brossura originale con cornice tipografica. Dorso ben rifatto e bruniture, ma esemplare molto buono, a pieni margini. VG-. ** Cfr. Hogon-Gonnet "Bibliografia Valdese", 858. Versione del professor G.F. Muratori fatta su un testo corretto ed accresciuto dall'Autore. L'edizione originale era stata pubblicata a Parigi nel 1836. "Scopo del libro - scrivono Hugon e Gonnet- dimostrare che i Valdesi non sono anteriori a Valdo". Charvaz era stato nominato Vescovo di Pinerolo nel 1834 con l'espresso mandato di convertire e catechizzare i Valdesi.
