An Introduction to Probability Theory and its Applications. By William Feller and printed in New York City by John Wiley and Sons, Inc. 1950 and 1966. 419 and 626 pp. 9.25 x 6.25 . Hardcover. Overall good, with loss of dust jackets. Minimal superficial scuffing to boards and spine. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Signatures of Kempthorne at front of both volumes. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce pair of volumes by Croatian-American mathematician William (Vilibald) Feller (1906-1970). Both owned by Oscar Kempthorne (1919-2000), a British statistician and geneticist best known for his work on randomization analysis and their associated experiments.
