In Otherworlds, philosopher Federico Campagna constructs extraordinary stories and alternative histories of the Mediterranean, nexus of migrations and odysseys, ruins and romances, to depict a world in which the imagination is the only engine of survival.

Chapter by chapter, Campagna chronicles the existential challenges posed by history and the inventive and radical responses of people facing the ruin of their world. About the Author

Federico Campagna is a young Italian philosopher based in London. His latest books with Bloomsbury are Otherworlds: Mediterranean lessons on escaping History (2025), Prophetic Culture: Recreation for adolescents (2021), and Technic and Magic: The reconstruction of reality (2018).

He is associate fellow at the Warburg Institute, lecturer and tutor at the Royal College of Art, and has lectured in international universities and academies around the world.
