Otter: Oh No, Bath Time! (My First I Can Read)

It’s bath time for Otter, the irrepressible picture book character from I Am Otter, Otter in Space, and Otter Loves Halloween! Sure to be adored by fans of Llama Llama.

Otter and Teddy love to play in the garden. But when they get dirty, they have to do something they do not love at all: take a bath! Otter Keeper says bath time is fun, but Otter and Teddy are not so sure. . . .

Otter: Oh No, Bath Time! is a My First I Can Read book, which means it’s perfect for shared reading with a child.

How does Otter go from hiding from the tub to not wanting to get out?

• Overcoming Fears: Otter and Teddy are sure they don’t like baths. But with lots of bubbles and a new duck friend, they learn that trying new things can be fun!
• Funny Animal Antics: From hiding under the bed to dressing up in disguises, Otter and Teddy will do anything to avoid the tub.
• Getting Good and Muddy: Before there can be a bath, there has to be a mess! Join Otter and Teddy for some rainy-day fun in the garden.
• My First I Can Read Level: This book uses basic language and word repetition, making it ideal for shared reading with an emergent reader.

Sam Garton began writing and illustrating stories about Otter and her world on the blog I Am Otter: The Unheard Ramblings of a Modern Day Domestic Otter in 2009. He lives in London. He met a real otter once. It bit him.
