About the Author
Originally from Cleveland Ohio, D'Bora is the last child of seven, six sisters and one brother. She was very shy growing up and was always an observer than a talker and that still remains true today. That's how she adapted an interest in people, who they were, their character and life experiences. There is a lot to learn when one listens. Through observing others peoples emotions and their experiences she was able to write not only through her perspective and feelings but from others as well.D'Bora's background has been in entertainment. She first dabbled in music creating a CD of spoken word and writing songs. From there she worked at movie studios such as; Paramount, Warner Brothers, Disney and Fox. She also appeared in Star Trek Voyager, Jamie Foxx Show and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. From there she became a Personal Assistant to celebrities. She had the great opportunity working for Lionel Richie, Mark Curry, Michael Baisden and the Keenan Ivory Wayan Show. From there she became an Estate Manager and worked for Cybill Sheherd and the Legendary Janet Leigh.Her love for writing started at an early age creating poems, then songs, songs to short stories then spec scripts for the shows, "For Your Love", "Smart Guy" and Everybody Loves Raymond". She then was accepted into the UCLA Writing Program accomplishing Fiction and Screenwriting. She completed several movies scripts and two stage plays, "Can I Get A Raise" and "It's Getting Hot In Here". But, her real goal and long time dream was to write a book. Then "Out of Control" was created and sold many copies and now the demand for the second book of this intriguing trilogy, "Out of Control Too" is completed.She is currently working on the third book of the trilogy entitled; "Destiny" subtitled "You can't control Destiny".
