Out of Order: Why Your Faith Feels off and how to fix it

What if the greatest source of stress in your life is not what you’re facing… But what are you prioritizing?
In a world driven by urgency, pressure, and endless demands, many believers find themselves overwhelmed, spiritually drained, and quietly wondering why peace feels so distant even while walking with God.
The answer may be simpler and more transformative than you think.
You may be seeking everything… except the Kingdom first.
In Out of Order, Dr. Douglas Reece delivers a powerful, Scripture-rich message that calls believers back to the central priority Jesus declared in Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
This is not just a verse; it is a divine blueprint for living a life of clarity, peace, provision, and purpose.
Through five transformative sections, this book guides readers into a deeper understanding of what it truly means to place God first in every area of life:

1. Understanding the Kingdom of God
(Luke 17:21; Matthew 4:17)
Discover that the Kingdom of God is not merely a future destination but a present reality: the rule and reign of God within the heart. Learn how surrender, not status, is the true entrance into Kingdom living.

2. The Meaning of “Seek First.”
(Matthew 6:33; Proverbs 3:6; Colossians 1:18)
Explore what it means to prioritize God above all else—not as an afterthought, but as the foundation of every decision, desire, and direction in life.

3. The Conflict of Competing Kingdoms
(Matthew 6:24; Romans 14:17)
Uncover the hidden battle between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of self. Identify the subtle idols that compete for your allegiance—and learn how to reclaim the throne of your heart for God.

4. The Promise of Kingdom Priority
(Matthew 6:25–33; Philippians 4:19; Psalm 37:25)
Experience the liberating truth that when God is first, He takes responsibility for your needs. This movement reveals the difference between striving and trusting in God’s provision.

5. Living a Kingdom-First Life
(Matthew 6:6; Matthew 6:20; Matthew 16:26)
Move from theory to transformation with practical, biblical steps for daily Kingdom living—aligning your time, values, decisions, and purpose with eternal priorities.

This book is more than teaching it is a call to realignment.
It will challenge your assumptions, confront misplaced priorities, and invite you into a life where:

• Peace replaces anxiety
• Purpose replaces confusion
• Trust replaces striving
• And God truly comes first

If you’ve ever felt like your life is out of order…
If you’ve been doing everything right but still feel spiritually empty…
If you’re ready to stop chasing everything else and start pursuing what matters most…
