Item description from seller

July 1950 issue. First of just two issued published in total in 1950, edited by Donald A. Wollheim: both issues contained a 32-page colour comic-strip section. ''The first issue included an impressive line-up of authors: A Bertram Chandler, Ray Cummings, Lester del Rey, Kris Neville, Mack Reynolds and A E van Vogt. An unusual feature was a 32-page colour comic strip section which the publisher had managed to acquire cheaply: this feature proved not to be the expected selling point, and the magazine flopped'' (Malcolm J. Edwards & Mike Ashley/Encyclopedia of SF, 3rd Edition).
