Synopsis
OUTFOXED! A Tale for Leaders, Professionals, and Other Precocoius Children offers a short treatise on storytelling masquerading as a Victorian children's reader.
Python and Mole are well aware that they're talking animals playing a role in a storybook. Mole is a great ruiner of lawns and golf courses but he can't find any purpose in it. And Python is not the hunter he once was. As they gripe about the script, the two climb Mount Metaphor to seek the wisdom of the wise and mysterious Fox. Along the way, they discover important lessons about stories and how they work. As Mole discovers his purpose and Python discovers new hunting techniques, they realize that they—and their readers—have been telling a story that's quite different than the one they'd expected.
Enjoy a laugh over this twisted tale and share this book with your team. Fox has plenty of clever storytelling strategies to share that will keep your readers and prospects interested in what you have to say.
About the Author
Dave Bricker's sailing voyages took him up and down the Bahamas, up the east coast of the US to Chesapeake Bay, and across the Atlantic to Gibraltar. He ran aground, dealt with mechanical breakdowns, got seasick more than once, slept in a volcano, survived powerful storms, and returned to the land of clocks and calendars with what he'd gone in search of-stories.Today, as a speaker, trainer, and coach, he helps remarkable people tell remarkable stories-through writing, speaking, graphic design, video, technology, and music. If you want to say it, share it, or sell it, bring him your story; he'll help you tell it.
