Synopsis
Inside Outside Overlap is a completely original graphic novel that springs out of the Ascent Magazine comic strip, 'Tales from the Vase'. In this evocative illustrated escapade, Boy Priest, a young ceremonial magician, is plagued with nightmarish visions that rise from deep within to unsettle him. With the aid of his magic Vase, he performs a ritual that brings him face to face with the psychic junk that's been pestering him. Charming and profound, Boy Priest, along with his all-seeing friend Lifeform, are known for delighting and surprising readers. Billy Mavreas renders the inward explorations of our oddball hero with a poetic sense of detail and an indie-art sensibility. Enjoy this tale from one of Montreal's most imaginative artists.
