About the Author
John C. LaBella is President of LaBella Consulting, Inc. He is dedicated to helping firms work through the many issues encountered as they attempt to optimize their Information Technology (IT) functions through outsourcing. John has traveled the globe working with partners in the U.S., Mexico, Brazil, Eastern Europe, Western Europe and India. Prior to managing IT organizations, John led major manufacturing and logistics initiatives at Kraft Foods, Inc. John taught Operations Management at the University of Wisconsin, Madison - School of Business and at Edgewood College in the MBA program. John was invited to lecture at L'Université de Bordeaux in Bordeaux, France and also at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA. In his book, The Inside of Outsourcing, John shares his insights and offers anecdotes from the past 15 years working in various IT roles. He has held positions ranging from Director of IT, Kraft Foods, Inc. to Vice President of Information Technology, Gap, Inc. During this time, John developed a great interest in, and respect for, the outsourcing of IT services. The Inside of Outsourcing culminates John's experiences into a practical "must read" for executives searching for ways to improve their IT organizations.
