W. Stewart Agras, MD, is professor of Psychiatry at the Stanford University School of Medicine, and director of the Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics. In addition, he is director of the Behavioral Medicine Program at Stanford. He has published over 300 articles and chapters.

Robin Apple, Ph.D., is on staff in the Behavioral Medicine Clinic, Department of Psychiatry, Stanford University Medical Center. She has participated in a multicenter study investigating the effectiveness of interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral therapies for the treatment of Bulimia Nervosa.
