Overhearing the Gospel: Revised and Expanded Edition

Revised and Expanded Edition! When originally published in 1978, Overhearing the Gospel introduced "narrative preaching" and forever changed the shape of contemporary preaching. Now a new generation of preachers can learn from the master himself in this revised and expanded edition of Craddock's groundbreaking method.

Called a "preaching genius" by CNN, Fred Craddock (1928-2015) was Bandy Distinguished Professor of Preaching and New Testament, emeritus, at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, and minister emeritus of Cherry Log Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He was a sought-after lecturer, an author of several books, and a captivating storyteller.
