Overview of matrix converters and their applications (Paperback)

Paperback. The main advantage of the matrix converter is its ability to obtain a unitary, adjustable power factor at the input. This exceptional control performance considerably broadens its field of application, particularly in variable-speed drive and generation systems requiring high precision. This book is an in-depth study of the two fundamental architectures: the indirect matrix converter and the direct matrix converter.Based on a significant contribution to control techniques (vector control, SVM, etc.), this book offers a rigorous comparison of the two types of architecture. It illustrates their practical implementation through concrete applications in the crucial field of electrical machine control. It is an essential resource for researchers and engineers wishing to master AC-AC conversion solutions without intermediate storage stages. This item is printed on demand.
