Card covers, very stout 4to, pp.xxii, 1048. Extensive and very useful reference to military history, arranged as an A - Z of names, dates, campaigns, battles, and many other terms. Appears to tbe the first Oxford University Press paperback edition but in fact has the TSP ( The Softback Parade ) logo to the base of the spine. Slight wear to binding edges in places but overall a clean and sound copy in at least VG condition. Very heavy book weighing c2600g when wrapped, exceeding the default of 1000g used for the postage quotation, and so the extra postage at cost will be requested at the time of order if to be sent overseas or in the UK.
