About the Author

Isabelle Arsenault loves drawing and mixing mediums. She tries to create images that are delicate, sophisticated and convey clever ideas with simplicity. Le coeur de Monsieur Gauguin won the prestigious Governor General's Award in 2005. My Letter to the World and other poems by Emily Dickinson, was also a finalist for that prize in 2009 and featured in the IRA Children's Choices list. Nikki Gamble is the founder and Director of Write Away and Just Imagine Story Centre. Nikki has worked in education and reading promotion for over 25 years, Formerly a teacher (secondary and primary) and teacher educator, she is lecturer, writer and education consultant.
