About the Author

Pat Thomson is the author of over 70 books. Her latest work has been divided between picture books and short novels for older children with reading difficulties. Pat is active in the promotion of reading for pleasure and is also part of the editorial team of the children's book review magazine, Carousel. Alessandra Cimatoribus was born in Spilimbergo (Friuli, Italy). She lives and works in Spilimbergo. She has illustrated children's books, games, packaging, advertising, and provided designs for theatre costumes. Nikki Gamble is the founder and Director of Write Away and Just Imagine Story Centre. Nikki has worked in education and reading promotion for over 25 years, Formerly a teacher (secondary and primary) and teacher educator, she is lecturer, writer and education consultant. Nikki is also on the current Executive Committee of United Kingdom Literacy Association (UKLA).
