106 pages. Clean tight book, unfortunately the spine has been repaired with green tape. Wood engraved frontispiece and wood engravings on title-page and first page of text, all by George Cruikshank. Two of the wood engravings are repeated in colour on the front and back boards. Various related newspaper cuttings tipped to front endpapers. Cagle 911, Axford p312 (misdated 1959), Bitting p588 all have details of the first edition. . Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
