Good details on Mexican architecture, Pueblo towns, natural history, etc. Devotes a chapter to describing the Apaches and other tribes of Arizona and New Mexico. About half the book concerns Central America, tropical life, hunting jaguars and pythons, ruins at Copan and Quiche, comments on Stephens' account, etc. Original pictorial cloth. Spint a bit rubbed. Front free endpaper excised. Just about very good.
