This is the 16th edition, revised, with an appendix of an oft reprinted work, and the illustrations are a skimpy three - but it is actually scarce. There is a bit of wear to the spine ends, the top left edge of which is split for an inch but it is otherwise in nice condition; and bears the ownership signature of a member of the prominent Van Vechten family of Leeds, New York, along with the contemporary sticker of a local bookseller.
