Octavo, four volumes. In Very Good minus condition. Quarter bound in vellum with corners tipped; boards covered in textured brown paste paper. Spines have labels with gilt lettering and volume numbers. All volumes have mild chipping, rubbing wear and closed tears to boards. Volume 3 has insect damage to the rear head fore corner of board. Volume 4 has significant denting to the front fore edge of board. Textblocks have very light age toning and foxing, and a few stains scattered throughout. Volume 1 has the tail corner of the titlepage torn off. Text in Italian and Latin. 1395686. Special Collections - Downstairs.
