Decorated brown cloth, faded spine, endpapers darkened, early ink owner inscription on the endpaper. 135 pp + 131 pp of "Mr. Murray's Complete Catalogue of Works in Print". ".I have corrected or modified one or two statements .and have added some matter.". A manual on rearing and keeping partridge, with chapters on their natural history, gamekeepers, driving, butts, beaters, retrievers, etc. "Where fifty birds made a good day's shooting for our ancestors, one hundred hardly suffice for the present generation". Very good.
