Privately printed, no place, 1938, one of 100 copies, signed in pencil by the author (William H. Claflin, Jr.). The author's name on the title page is "Anonymous?. Illustrated with a b&w frontispiece. 5.5" x 7.5". 32 pp. Brown paper covered boards, brown cloth spine, front endpapers foxed and darkened at the hinges. This is a rare little book on hunting ruffed grouse in New England. The book is housed in a very nice brown paper covered two-part box with front cover label. The book was not issued in a box - this was added by a previous owner. Very good in a very good box.
