This is an outstanding book for beginning PC users and people just curious about PCs. This book starts with the basic assumption that people are not dummies or idiots and that what has been lacking has been instruction that is based on everyday concepts rather than popular "techno-jargon."
David S. Hayden is a CAM Systems Administrator in a large manufacturing company in Southwestern PA. Prior to this position, he was a PC Systems Integrator and Consultant in Denver. David's love of PCs started in the late 1980's when built his first computer from pieces he bought from The Computer Shopper. From there he went on to build databases and provide on site programming for an environmental laboratory.
David and his wife, live in beautiful rural Southwest PA. He spends most of his free time reading, following current events, writing, programming and working on his home PC network.
