About the Author

Maryam Mafi naci� y creci� en Ir�n. Estudi� Sociolog�a y Literatura en la Universidad de Tufts (EE.UU.) en 1977. Mientras cursaba un m�ster en Comunicaciones Internacionales en la universidad de Georgetown y en American University, comenz� a traducir literatura persa, y ha seguido haci�ndolo desde entonces. Vive en Londres.
