Does Perfection intrigue you? Do you want to be perfect?
Beware - perfection is seldom what you expect, or want, it to be.
In these thirteen original stories, published here for the first time, you will meet people who encountered perfection, and discovered its unexpected consequences:
In Why Scientists Never Get Rich, a college student discovers that perfect foresight can have deadly side effects.
In The One That Got Away, a frightened young soldier discovers that perfect protection comes at a price.
In Only the Wind, a truck driver considers the drawbacks of the perfect job.
In May All Your Wishes Come True, a troubled high school student discovers that getting everything he wants isn’t what he wants.
In Nothing, the President of the United Sates learns that nothing can be the perfect weapon.
In The Gift of Eternal Life, an enterprising adventurer discovers that the perfect gift just keeps on giving.
Meet these and others who encountered perfection and learned that perfection often comes with a dark side.
