About the Author
Polly Patrick, M.A., is an ICLE senior instructional and leadership consultant, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and new teacher specialist while being a 20-year adjunct instructor at the University of St. Thomas; she is also a coauthor of Ask, Don’t Tell and a contributing author to Navigating the Common Core for Struggling Students. Polly loves activating learning in any group.
Angela Peery, Ed.D., is a former teacher, instructional coach, and administrator who has been a full-time author and consultant since 2003; she has published sixteen books and facilitates professional development on a variety of topics, including curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
