Two volumes. Brown polished cloth decoratively gilt, DWs, small 8vo., (viii), 242; (vii), 244-486 pages. The first title (of seven) in The Hesperides Series, designed by Bruce Rogers and with his thistle BR mark. One of 500 sets printed by John Johnson at the Oxford University Press on superior paper. Very mild spotting to the endpapers, small bookseller's ticket at rear, else very fine, clean copies, in very near fine, clean, unworn creme DWs printed in green which show small, old tan stains to the upper and lower extremities of the spine, in the original, near fine paper-covered board slipcase.
