Book size about 7 1/2 by 9 inches with some 411 pages. Bound in color illustrated blue/green cloth with red lettering. Voluminous book covering all aspects of amusements of young and old at the turn-of-the-century. Both indoor and outdoor recreation. Illustrated throughout with full page photographs. In golf 'the usual complement of clubs is six' (Those were the wild days!). Everything in the realm of idle hour doings for all ages, unusual in that respect. Most of these amusement books from that era were for the young only. Scuff to front cover ; shaken; bottom tips worn through; spine worn at top/bottom; spine sunned. GOOD Language: eng.
