Splendid collection of Old Cornish Folklore & Legends: Piskies, Spriggans, Giants, Fairies, Mermaids, Tregeagle stories with Dosmery Pool and the Hounds, Lost Cities, and much, much more. Frontispiece has a full page Illustration of "A Flight of Witches". Title Page has vignette illus. of little people and a black creature. Green cloth cover with bright Gilt Illustration a small bearded figure wearing a cloak and conical hat. Bright Gilt lettering and illustration of Giant hand grasping a little man on spine. Beveled Edges. 8" Tall. A little fading to cloth on front and back. Some fraying to cloth at spine ends. Pencil notes on endpaper. No other inscriptions. Faint brown stain on frontis and title page.
