4to size hardcover volume in gray paper boards. Spine is chipped and missing about 3rd of paper. Boards have been off and are taped on inside endpapers. Contains 3 parts. First practical hints is 4th ed. 1830 has all 9 plates. 2nd part 4th ed. 1834 has all 8 plates. 3rd part 3rd ed. 1830 has 8 colored plates. Pages all very clean with no foxing. Front title page has a ink owners name else no other markings. Some pages uncut.
