16mo., (32) pp., full-page b&w photographs and a few small sketches. Color illustrated stiff wrappers; small stain on rear. Very good. Tipped to the front is a printed slip regarding the Premo Catalogue noting the prices have been reduced. This booklet serves as a general overview of the uses and ease of use of the Premo camera; the latter part shows cameras and prices. Rochester Optical Company's most successful innovation, the "Premo" line, was introduced in 1893 and continued for almost 30 years. After an unsuccessful merging with several other companies in Rochester, in 1907 the company was acquired by George Eastman, and became the Rochester Optical Division of the Eastman Kodak Company; in 1918 it changed to the Rochester Optical Department.
