There are twelve annotated photos from the inauguration of Harry S. Truman from January, 1949. Eight photos measure 3.5" x 3.5," and four measure 3.25" x 4.5." All are identified on the verso with Jan. 1949, Washington, D.C., Inauguration of Harry S. Truman, with some having more information including: "The news and radio reports stand, directly in front is the Presidents stand, erected for the occasion. It's 10 a.m. and the crowd is gathering," " Inauguration parade. Held Kodak up to take the horses, got mostly heads. We were at least eight rows back of the crowd," " one of the Governor's cars. They were beauties. Each had a driver for the car," etc. Some of the photos have creases/wear. A nice political collection. Seller Inventory # 1162
