Edition unknown, circa 1925, small 4to, 235 x 190 mm, 9¼ x 7½ inches, cloth backed boards. 12 enchanting colour plates on thick board pages including upper and lower covers. Upper cover by Sowerby (2 little girls with baby rabbits) plus 3 others by her (girls feeding robins, 2 children with ducklings, baby on mother's knee). Other artists: L.A. Govey (3, 2 of children, 1 of ducks and kitten), Angusine MacGregor (2 - baby and building blocks, baby on swing with little sisters), Nina K. Brisley (toddlers with 3 kittens), Barbara Briggs (2). Brief captions under each. Spine faded, 5 mm (¼") chips to head and tail, corners slightly worn. Very good plus, lovely bright copy of uncommon board book.
