The volume contains texts printed on specially manufactured watermarked cotton paper, with rare illustrations and three engravings by Domenico Marchetti (1840), together with the commentaries on the Templar trial preserved in the Vatican Secret Archives.

Includes faithful reproductions of:
- Parchments from the Archivium Arcis containing the interrogations and confessions of the Knights Templar, including Jacques de Molay, extending to approximately six metres in length.
- The Chinon Document from the Archivium Arcis (Armadium 217) and the private dossier of Pope Clement V from the Avignon Register 48.
- The red wax seals of the Cardinal Inquisitors Bérenger Frédol, Pietro Colonna and Pierre de la Chapelle.

The sewing and binding were executed by hand in tanned goatskin according to traditional methods, with impressions in genuine gold leaf to the boards and spine.
