Octavo, cxxvii, 326 pages. In Very Good plus condition with Good dust jacket. Tan spine with blue titling. Dust jacket with moderate sunning and age toning, particularly to spine and edges. Several small stains to lower half of dust jacket spine and to front wrap of dust jacket; light plus shelf wear and minor tearing to corners and edges, head and tail of jacket. Binding shows light bumping to corners of boards, head and tail of spine. Light marking to tail of text block. Scattered pencil annotations to text block; with the bookplate of Ronald Paulson, leading expert on William Hogarth and former professor of English literature at Yale and Johns Hopkins. Reprint of the 1936 edition published in Oxford; Vol. 1 only. Shelved in Room X. 1389604. Special Collections - Downstairs.
