A project of constitutional reform. A response to the Siete Leyes which had drastically reformed the Mexican political structure in 1836 and increased central power (i.e. in Santa Anna), these reforms were unsuccessful in satisfying all parties. Rather, these measures were a step towards the entirely new constitution would be formed in 1843. An uncommonly fine copy of a handsomely printed Mexican document. Original printed wrappers. Crisp and clean. Near fine.
