THE PSYCHIC FACTORS OF CIVILIZATION

xxi+369; prev.owner's small gilt label top front pastedown, hint of paper crack to front gutter buyt seems quite secure, early eraseable faint pencil annotation intermittently to pp.2-14, verso final leaf and extensively to verso rear blank fly, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked, occ. slightly clumsy openings. Brown cloth covers generally clean and minimally worn bar slight rubbing to extremities, but a few white marks across bottom spine (these confined to grooves of cloth cross-grain and actually substantially removable with a very fine point if you are sufficiently obsessional!). Although dated 1892 verso t.p. the Preface, clearly intended for 1st ed. A very acceptable copy of this ambitious treatise, which is primarily psychological rather than sociological.
