PTCD: Post-Traumatic Church Disorder - Expanded Leadership Edition: Addressing the Elephant in the Sanctuary

When the place meant to heal becomes the place that wounds both sheep and shepherds, healing begins with restoring the heart of leadership.

In this Expanded Leadership Edition of PTCD: Post-Traumatic Church Disorder - Addressing the Elephant in the Sanctuary, Aaron D. Davis confronts one of the most painful and often avoided realities in Christian leadership: the damage done when leaders and systems in ministry, business, church, and the home lose alignment with the heart of God. Drawing from decades of ministry, personal experience, biblical truth, and leadership insight, he speaks with honesty to the spiritual wounds unhealthy leadership can create, to the leaders willing to examine what has been tolerated, inherited, or repeated in the name of ministry, and to the healing and restoration God makes possible.

Written for aspiring leaders, seasoned leaders, wounded leaders, and those entrusted with influence, this book explores how unhealthy systems form, how spiritual wounds deepen, and how Kingdom leadership can be restored. It offers clarity, conviction, and a biblical framework for protecting people, empowering calling, and leading with integrity. With grace, humility, courage, and a renewed vision for faithful influence, Davis calls leaders higher into a more Christlike way of leading. PTCD is both a wake-up call and an invitation to restoration for those called to lead, for the people they serve, and for the Body of Christ as a whole.
