Blue printed wrappers with an illustration of Ulysses Grant on the front. Light wear at edges, generally fine condition. 156 pp., large uncolored map of San Francisco, reinforced along some folds. While titled as a program for a G. A. R. encampment, this is actually a complete guide to California and the Pacific Coast with just a few pages at the back devoted to the G. A. R. event. There is extensive information about San Francisco, the Gold Region, spas and resorts, and other activities for visitors to the region. There are also many ads for local businesses. The uncolored map by Britton & Rey measures 48x60 cm. and shows all of San Francisco County.
