For starters, Adobe PageMaker Complete covers fundamentals such as setting up preferences and master pages, formatting type and paragraphs, and using the package's drawing tools, graphics, and color options. But then it goes on to explain the most challenging tasks in PageMaker, such as trapping, indexing, writing scripts, understanding prepress issues, and working with printers and service bureaus. The book is current, covering new and enhanced features in version 6.5, including frames, annotations, layers, and Web output. Appendices on using master checklists, keyboard shortcuts, special characters, and plug-ins round out this thorough and imminently helpful book.
