His Pain My Gain

Christ bled 7 times...

From Gethsemane to Golgotha, Christ deposited a trail of blood, redeeming man and covering the total plan of salvation in His blood.

Have you thought much about all that Christ suffered on your behalf? Most of us avoid dwelling on the reality of Christ's suffering, until the Easter season rolls around. Even then, we tend to skim over the facts of Calvary and move right on to His glorious resurrection. Though Easter is Christ's absolute triumph over death, His suffering also has much to teach us. It provides the doorway to a deeper level and power in our spiritual journey. In his new book, His Pain, My Gain, Pastor Don R. Vining shifts our focus from the mere facts of Christ's suffering to the significance of His suffering. Christ bled seven times for us between His agonized prayer in Gethsemane to the moment He paid sin's ultimate penalty. Through that trail of blood, He covered every issue and circumstance that would ever dare to touch our lives. He confronted and conquered everything we will ever face. If you are longing for a deeper walk with Christ, a better understanding of how His suffering 2,000 years ago can meet your needs today, then His Pain, My Gain is for you.
