Synopsis
Some people probably won't be able to handle the details of the characters in this book, but believe it or not, these are real-life people. At least one of the characters in this book will relate to someone. Some people are really battling with brokenness, drug abuse, having children out of wedlock, the death of a loved one, generational curses, and so forth. Too many times people become afraid of revealing their mess. They get saved and act as if they're perfect and never went through anything or have ever done anything wrong. When in reality, the very thing that they were delivered from is the very thing that someone they know is battling with. You see, sometimes it's so easy to forget where God has brought us from. It's easy to keep our skeletons in a closet when our testimony has the power to draw others to Jesus. It's easy to look at someone and judge them when you really have no idea what that person has or is going through in their life. It's easy to want to give up when things get hard in your marriage or in your relationships with other people, but I encourage everyone who picks up this book to love people genuinely and to share your testimony with others, because you never know how God can use your mess as a message and turn you into the messenger that He designed you to be. Realize that you have power!
Revelation 12: 11 says, "They overcame by the power of their testimony."
About the Authors
Miracle Bridges is a wife, a mother, a minister, but more importantly, a child of God. She has a passion for saving souls for the kingdom of God. Miracle has lived a life of brokenness, low self-esteem, betrayal, lust, and greed, but through the delivering power that God provides, she was able to come out of bondage and push forward to fulfill the purpose that God put in her. She believes from experience that things, that never gets revealed, never gets healed. That's why in this book "Their Pain, but God's Promises" she speaks about things that most families are afraid to talk about. This book is filled with how you can be broken down and lost by greed, lust, drugs, unforgiveness, loss of a loved one, wedlock, secrets, and so much more, but most importantly, it shows the love of God and the power He has to make all things work together for the good of those that love Him. Miracle has been in ministry with her husband Jason Bridges since 2010. Not only is she an author, but she is also a gospel rap artist and poet that enjoys serving the homeless and blessing lives.
