London: E. & F.N. Spon, 1910. Fourth edition, revised and much enlarged, of a work first published in 1902 and reprinted until 1926. The text gives recipes of mixtures, lists of manufacturers, and types of pigments, illustrated with hundreds of actual coloured samples. Jennings was the author of myriad books on colour and a fellow of various decorating societies. Some wear to binding else very good, with the samples intact.
