A pair of ephemeral items issued by Vernelo & Co, a Chicago magic shop operated by Inez Vernelo, editor of the influential magic publication "The Sphinx," together with her husband, magician Edward Vernelo. Includes a prospectus for the book "Magic and its Professors" (octavo, single folded leaf), published in 1902, printing illustrations from the book inside. Together with a quarto broadside headed "Vernelo & Co's Stock Sheet No. 5", printing a price list for magic products sold at the store, including "Multiplying Billiard Balls," "One Chinese Pagoda," "and "One Nickel Rising-card Houlette on wand." In very good condition.
