About the Author

The team behind Pakistan Risk Review includes two actuaries and a number of risk professionals focused on the Pakistani dataset for the last six years. Their analysis has been used historically to set risk limits and policy at a number of local banking and investment institutions. Jawwad Farid is an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Fellow Society of Actuaries as well as the founder of the region's first risk practice. He primarily advices customers on risk based capital, portfolio management, valuation of contingent products, Basel II and Enterprise Risk frameworks.
