Pants on Ants Paperback

Pants on Ants? Eggs with Legs? Apes with Capes? From playtime to bedtime, things are JUST NOT RIGHT! The first book of the Word Menders series, Pants on Ants is a fabulous fun romp that engages children (and adults too!) with its vivid imagery and strong rhythm and rhyme. But there is more to this story than meets the eye! Carefully selected word pairs help children to learn to hear and produce sounds at the beginnings of words - an important skill for clear speech and one of the foundations skills for reading. Children will ask to read it again and again! Pants on Ants, which was written by a speech-language pathologist, includes flashcards which can be stored in a handy pocket included in the book. The flashcards can be used to practice the word pairs and extend the story.
