Octavo, 211 pages plus appendix, 40 plates (some folding), diagrams in the text. Covers bridge practice in India in the late 1860s. Half-leather. The covers are poor, the rear cover is fully detached but present, the front cover is attached by two joints, the leather having cracked all the way down. Internally there is tape between the two front endpapers and between the front free endpaper and following page. The actual text block and plates are in VG condition for their age. have included 5 photographs to try and give an idea (the maximum we can post) but further pictures can be provided on request.
