Patrick, known for his practical religious writing, created this narrative as a symbolic account of a Christian?s progress through faith and trial. This London edition, printed for Richard Chiswell in 1687, is the sixth and among the more desirable early issues. It includes the engraved frontispiece often found in Chiswell?s theological imprints.
