Full leather binding with dark red and black spine-labels, the upper label has "Paradise Regain'd" and the lower label has "Vol II". This book is the whole of Paradise Regain'd and is probably the second volume of a run of Milton's Works in the collection of an early owner. Corners are lightly rubbed, and upper spine-end is worn. Leather over upper external joints is cracked but covers are securely attached and the internal hinges are intact. Marbled end-papers with a book-plate with crest for J Forlon on inside of front cover, sound binding, slight separation between pages146 & 147. Clean pages and plates. Contains frontis and two additional plates. Title, table, [4], 381, [2]. One volume of the 1-volume set. No dust jacket, as published. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: under 1 kg.
