Paragon Moon: Bound in Thread

A train ride to the sprawling desert megapolis of Eleutheria is all it takes for the shy and insecure Maya Canek’s life to shatter. Visiting with a friend and finding herself in a ritzy market, a clumsy accident turns her trip into a waking nightmare as she’s trapped with an impossible debt and forced into servitude.

Her new life is at the mercy of the market’s strange and powerful inhabitants, each harboring secrets of their own. After a chaotic tour of the market’s most eligible men by the crazed Indah, she’s assigned to work at “The Glistening Thread,” a high-end clothing shop run by the kind but enigmatic Mew Darnell.

As Maya navigates the vibrant and sometimes overwhelming life of the Aurelionite Towers market, she finds herself drawn to her mysterious boss. Mew is more than just a handsome half-Orc tailor; he is a gentle giant with a powerful, fiercely protective streak, and the only glimmer of safety in her terrifying new reality. Yet, he’s a man of dangerous secrets—a mysterious past, powerful enemies, and a wife he never speaks of.

While Maya grapples with her attraction to her forbidden boss, she begins a journey of self-discovery, finding not only her own voice and confidence but also the startling truth of her own heritage. A strange power is awakening within her, a dormant magic tied to her very bloodline. Haunted by increasingly romantic dreams that seem far too real, Maya must decide if her growing feelings for Mew are a path to freedom or a beautiful trap.
